Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT) is a one on one session with Debbie. PRYT blends mind-body psychology with gentle movement and supported hatha yoga postures as a way of processing and releasing stress-induced tension and pain. This modality is client centered and wrapped in an atmosphere of unconditional positive regard where the client can process the physical, emotional and mental imprints of trauma, anxiety, depression, illness, grief and sudden life changes. In a one on one setting, clients are essentially engaged in a meditation with their body as the portal – focusing on breath and movement and noticing what arises in the space – physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually. From this noticing, an unfolding occurs that eventually leads the client to integrate what they learned in the session and how they wish to take this learning forward into their life. “What is happening to your body is happening to your life”.
